Postgres Compatibility Issues

Reported by: steven.studniarz@… Owned by: jdsiiro
Priority: normal Milestone:
Component: TracTicketModerator Version: TracTicketModerator 0.2

I have had a few issues with using TracTicketModerator? with a Postgres database.

First of all, I had an issue where an SQL query was being generated and double quotes were used. The issue was on line 259 on (the 'status="%s"' bit). This was a trivial change.

A more daunting error appears to be the use of "old" as a column name in the moderator_tickets table. "OLD" is a reserved keyword in Postgres (and as such won't allow a moderator to view the page to approve/deny a pending ticket). I'd recommend the column name be changed to something else, but the changes to be made didn't seem to be completely trivial.

Thanks! The correction to line 259 was committed to trunk in r1914.

I will work on changing the old column name and hopefully push out a new release with a couple other features in the next week or so.

  • Status changed from new to closed
  • Resolution set to fixed

The "old" column has been renamed to "orig" in r1951.

Existing installations will require an environment upgrade.
