Add error reporting to acro build system

Reported by: jdsiiro Owned by: wehart
Priority: major Milestone: Acro 2.1
Component: Acro Projects Version: acro 1.0.2
Keywords: Cc:
Subcomponent: Configuration and Building

Description (last modified by wehart) (diff)

"setup configure" should barf *something* to the screen if either autoreconf or configure fail. When I tried configuring on Darwin, the only indication that something went wrong was that configure went too fast (and that there was no Makefile). Something as simple as:

% ./setup configure
ERROR: autoreconf failed. See test/config.out

would suffice.

Converting all severities into priorities and deprecating the severity field.

  • Priority changed from blocker to major

Changing this to a 'major' bug, since this isn't blocking any development in Acro.
