Overview
SSH was required to connect to the Acro CVS repository on software.sandia.gov, but it is not rquired to connect to the Acro subversion repository. This documentation is provided for historical reference.
In general, SSH will require a password confirmation every time you connect to this machine. However, it is possible to simplify this process in several ways:
- Setup a passwordless ssh key for your user account
- Use Daniel Robbins' Keychain script to authenticate the connection to software.sandia.gov when you boot up your machine.
